As a Senior IT & Security Technician at Breeze, you’ll take ownership of building and maintaining the systems that keep our teams secure, productive, and connected. You’ll manage internal IT infrastructure, oversee security tools and policies, and work closely with Engineering, Risk, and Compliance to ensure our operations remain safe, efficient, and scalable. What You’ll Do Design, implement, and manage Breeze’s internal IT infrastructure, including device management, networking, and endpoint security. Administer and secure SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Notion) through centralized access management. Build automations to improve IT and security workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning. Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across internal systems. Partner with Engineering, Compliance, and Risk teams to enforce security best practices and manage security audits. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediation across devices and networks. Support compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and maintain related documentation. Lead IT troubleshooting and incident response efforts, ensuring minimal downtime and clear communication. Evaluate and onboard new IT and security tools to enhance reliability, scalability, and user experience. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional experience in IT systems administration, security engineering, or DevSecOps. Strong technical knowledge in SaaS management, identity access management, and device security. Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Okta (or similar IAM solutions), and endpoint management tools like Jamf, Kandji, or Intune. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and network security best practices. Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS). Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Proactive problem solver who takes ownership and works well in cross-functional environments.
