Description
For an European institution in Warsaw, we are looking for a Senior Business analyst. As Business analyst, you will operate across business process optimization, system analysis and strategic planning to support the Application Delivery domain. Candidates need to be based in the region of Warsaw (max 2 hours distance). Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors. Tasks and responsibilities: Gather and analyze business needs, user stories, and functional requirements; Translate business and technical needs into formal specifications and manage requirements throughout the system lifecycle; Model, validate, and test business processes using BPMN; collaborate with owners of end-to-end processes to drive continuous improvement; Map business goals, benefits, and features; support both strategic and tactical planning activities for business users; Assess existing systems and identify solution options aligned with business needs; Clearly communicate scope, requirements, objectives, and business cases to stakeholders; Prepare and maintain structured analytical and project documentation; Profile: Bachelor or Master's degree; +8 years of IT experience; +5 years of Business Analyst experience in a project aimed at analysis, design, implementation and deployment of ICT Solution that enabled (1) content production or (2) reporting tools or (3) analytical tools; Completed at least one full lifecycle of a software solution; Strong knowledge of BPMN for business process modelling; Familiarity with UML notations (state diagrams, capability diagrams, etc.). Proficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar; Knows how to develop a Business Architecture and its elements; Experience in the role of Business Analyst in a project aimed at business processes improvement or redesign; Fluent in English;
