Job Description As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will lead end-to-end analysis for high-impact financial software projects. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and developers, guiding the full lifecycle from discovery through delivery and post-go-live support. We need someone like you to contribute across the following responsibilities: Lead discovery workshops to gather, analyse, and document business requirements. Translate complex needs into clear functional specifications. Define and model current and future-state business processes, identifying automation opportunities and operational improvements. Collaborate with data architects to design conceptual data models and ensure alignment across systems during integrations or migrations. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Figma or similar, working closely with UX teams to validate business logic and user experience. Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing, coordinating validation with business stakeholders. Support business transition activities, including user training, preparation of supporting materials, and hands-on assistance during go-live and stabilization phases. Work closely with Agile delivery teams, participating in grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Create and refine user stories using JIRA and Confluence. Qualifications EXPERIENCE 9+ years of experience in Business Analysis roles, preferably within banking, fintech, or system transformation environments. Proven track record in workflow definition, data modelling, prototyping, and business training activities. EDUCATION Certificate of Higher Education / University Degree / Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Deep domain expertise in areas such as lending, payments, or compliance. Strong understanding of conceptual data models and system integrations. Experience working in Agile environments, including user story creation and sprint management. Proficiency with wireframing and mockup tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, or similar). Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong change management capabilities. Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Teams, and Excel. Technical background is a plus (basic SQL, Appian, Pega).
