The Senior Data Architect is a strategic technical leader responsible for designing scalable, secure, and supportable data infrastructure that enables the enterprise to extract, organize, and leverage data effectively. This role champions and evangelizes best practices and standardization across diverse data platforms and tools. This position directly influences enterprise-wide data strategy and governance, shaping how data is leveraged across departments to drive decision-making and innovation.
The Senior Data Architect will collaborate closely with database administrators, data engineers, analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and business stakeholders to ensure the optimal and coherent functioning of our data ecosystems. They will also mentor data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. A successful candidate will be adept at architecting solutions based on business and functional requirements, delivering high-quality, scalable, secure, maintainable, and reliable data solutions.

PROJECT MANAGER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Azure Cloud technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience designing solutions in Azure cloud, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Data Lakehouse, Azure Synapse, Python, PySpark, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • 5+ years of experience working with a variety of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), database technologies, and tools.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and enforcing strategic data architecture plans and design patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining Data Architecture diagrams and models using Visio, or similar tools
  • 1+ years working with data governance, compliance standards, and ensuring data privacy in accordance with legal and industry regulations.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field, and/or 7+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering, with a focus on Azure Cloud technologies.
