To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The position is based at our headquarters in Holle and may also include assignments at our warehouse locations as needed. Hybrid working and working from home are possible by arrangement.

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO WITH US:

• Together with another colleague, you will be responsible for our entire server and infrastructure landscape and ensure stable, secure and future-proof operation.
• You will administer, maintain, and continuously develop our Windows and Linux servers as well as the Hyper-V virtualization environment.
• You set up and optimize development environments and dedicated AI servers, and ensure reliable operation.
• By working together on-premises systems and Microsoft 365, you maintain an overview and strategically develop our hybrid infrastructure.
• Patch management, backups with Veeam, and regular recovery tests are just as much a part of your responsibilities as their ongoing optimization and automation.
• You evaluate new technologies and tools for their added value, contribute your own ideas, and implement suitable solutions together with the IT team and the specialist departments.
• Your responsibilities will be rounded off by clear and concise documentation of our systems, processes, and configurations.

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD BRING THESE:

• A completed IT apprenticeship, a degree in computer science or business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in the administration and further development of server infrastructures
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and virtualization, ideally with Hyper-V
• Confident handling of Docker and Kubernetes, as well as experience with backup solutions such as Veeam.
• Knowledge of patch management and an interest in further developing and automating processes.
• Experience with development environments and Microsoft 365 is a plus, but not a requirement.
• A self-reliant, structured and solution-oriented work style
• Enjoyment of teamwork, cross-departmental collaboration, and very good German language skills.
