As a (Senior) IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) at our Saarbrücken location, you will proactively support our internal IT department and make a significant contribution to the stable operation and continuous development of our IT infrastructure. You will manage our existing systems in the areas of virtualization, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup , and disaster recovery , ensuring reliable and smooth operation. You will systematically analyze disruptions, develop sustainable solutions, and ensure that our systems remain stable and future-proof in the long term. Furthermore, you will contribute to the further development of our IT landscape in both on-premises and cloud environments and actively participate in technical measures and infrastructure projects. You will always keep abreast of current developments and trends and use your expertise to significantly contribute to the continuous optimization and advancement of our IT.

This is what makes you stand out: 

• Completed vocational training or studies in the IT field or a comparable qualification 
• Several years of professional experience in the operation of IT infrastructures 
• Knowledge of virtualization, backup, monitoring, and network/firewall 
• Ideally, experience in the Microsoft cloud environment (M365 / Azure) 
• Fluent German and good English skills 
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to work and a strong team spirit.
