Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to programs/projects as part of an HCM digital transformation effort.
  • Partner with the business and technology groups to deliver and maintain enterprise HCM solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HCM-related products and technologies, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Support Vulcan’s compliance and data governance practices.
  • Owner of all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics in the area of HCM.
  • Responsible for appropriate staffing, people management, performance management, and overall scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage staff to implement, maintain, and support all related systems and software.
  • Lead the HCM business applications team to provide the full product lifecycle for functional programs/projects including ideation, prioritization, design, development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the development, integration, and testing teams to produce quality solutions and timely results.
  • Responsible for quarterly patch evaluation, analyzing new or changed functionality, developing test plans, unit testing, and coordinating with business users in testing activities to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in M&A activities and understand the impact on current business processes, integrations, and reports. Work with cross-functional business groups to lead/execute the integration plan
