Description
Join the ride! Our Team IT Operations keeps our entire ecosystem running smoothly and takes care of our internal infrastructure that powers our daily operations. To take our internal systems, identity management, and security posture to the next level, we are looking for a versatile and growth-minded (Senior) IT Operations Engineer (w/m/x/d) to join our team in Berlin. Reporting directly to our Head of IT Operations & Security, you won't just be closing tickets - you will own, build, and secure our internal tech landscape. Your Responsibility Identity & Access Management: Own, manage, and continuously scale our identity and access infrastructure, primarily through Okta (SSO, SCIM, MFA, and lifecycle management). MDM & Fleet Management: Administer and maintain our modern MDM solutions, Iru for Apple devices and Intune for Windows, leading the device lifecycle management across our entire fleet. Smart Software Integrations: Act as the primary technical contact for external software providers. You will lead onboarding processes, talk to vendors, and implement seamless software integrations. Advanced Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues. While you will occasionally handle hardware tasks, your main focus will be tackling the harder, more complex software tickets. Security & Digital Compliance: Drive improvements to our IT security posture. You will maintain and update our internal tools to align with shifting legal and compliance requirements, ensuring a bulletproof baseline compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across MILES to support IT needs at scale and keep internal documentation (concerning configurations, systems, and processes) to an exceptionally high standard. Mentorship: Share your knowledge and act as a mentor for junior team members and working students within the IT Operations team. Your Experience Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems engineering, IT operations, or a similar versatile role. Okta Expertise: Deep knowledge of Okta, including lifecycle management, automated provisioning, and complex API integrations. MDM & OS Mastery: Strong experience managing Apple devices via Iru and Windows devices via Intune. You feel completely at home in both macOS and Windows environments. Security & Compliance Mindset: A solid understanding of modern IT security principles, baseline endpoint compliance, and digital access control. Growth & Versatility: You don't just stick to what you know. You are eager to learn, take complete ownership of diverse IT projects, and adapt to new technologies. Communication: You are comfortable speaking with external vendors and collaborating internally. You document your work naturally. Languages: Fluent English skills are required; German is a distinct plus. Benefits Mobility: Choose between monthly MILES credits or the Deutschlandticket. Fitness: Enjoy a subsidized Urban Sports Club membership for your physical and mental well-being. Discounts: Access 1,500+ providers for discounts on sneakers, theater visits, and more. Home Office: Enjoy the flexibility of working from our office in Berlin and from home. Retirement: Secure your financial future with our attractive pension plan. Growth: We prioritize personal development through knowledge sharing and training opportunities (with the support from our HR Team and the Team Leads). Social Impact: We dedicate a portion of our revenue to support regional social projects, actively contributing to the well-being of society and the environment. #milescharity About us OUR VALUES Our MILES values are the basis of our daily work and what makes us a team.
