Job Description The role is based within the Digital Solutions department of an international energy organization. The mission focuses on the procurement of IT digital solutions, particularly software and SaaS platforms, to support internal needs in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and Logistics. The environment is highly international, requiring strong understanding of global procurement practices, complex stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage negotiations with worldwide vendors. A strategic mindset, proven experience working on complex digital procurement topics, and strong project management capabilities are essential. Objectives & Deliverables The consultant will be responsible for: 1. Digital Solution Sourcing & Selection Evaluate and select IT solutions (software / SaaS) addressing HSE and logistics requirements. Analyze functional, technical, security, and budget constraints to recommend optimal solutions. 2. Procurement Process Optimization Improve and streamline IT procurement processes within a global context. Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance, and international procurement standards. 3. Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal stakeholders (HSE, Logistics, Digital Solutions, Legal, IT Security, etc.) to ensure digital solutions meet business expectations. Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering, and validation phases. 4. Contract Management & Negotiation Lead contract negotiations with software and SaaS vendors to maximize business value. Draft and structure procurement documentation, RFPs, and contract terms. Manage contract lifecycle, including renewals and change requests. 5. Performance Follow-up Monitor vendor performance and solution effectiveness after deployment. Recommend improvement actions and ensure continuous alignment with operational needs. Qualifications Required Skills & Expertise Technical & Functional Skills Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, including 5+ years dedicated to IT software / SaaS purchasing. Solid expertise in digital solutions procurement, preferably in HSE and/or logistics domains. Strong understanding of SaaS licensing models, data & security considerations, and performance management. Experience working in complex, international environments. Excellent negotiation skills, vendor management, and contract drafting abilities. Soft Skills Strong analytical and strategic thinking. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Autonomy, initiative, and problem‑solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align diverse business expectations. Qualifications Master’s degree in Procurement, IT, Business Management, Engineering, or related field. Fluent in English (mandatory); French is an asset. Proven experience leading IT procurement projects in international organizations.
