Job Description Join AFCA as the Senior IT Project Coordinator who will support the IT delivery of AFCA’s Scams Jurisdiction Program. You’ll coordinate technical resources responsible for application design, development, integration, and deployment, ensuring milestones are met, governance is followed, and budgets stay on track. Reporting to the IT Governance & Controls Manager, with a dotted line to the Scams Program Delivery Lead, you’ll be the conduit between IT and business teams, keeping delivery aligned, risks managed, and stakeholders informed. This is initially a 2 year fixed-term contract. Typically in this role you will: Coordinate the delivery of technical workstreams across development, integration, testing, and release phases Maintain detailed project plans, sprint cycles, and milestone schedules aligned to the broader program timeline Track progress, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as needed Support agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog prioritisation with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and testers. Coordinate change control and release processes in line with AFCA’s IT Governance framework Maintain RAID logs, project documentation, and reporting dashboards Track and report resource allocation and IT budgets, forecasts, and actuals; including POs, invoices, and timesheets. Facilitate meetings and checkpoints, acting as the central coordination point between IT and the Scams Program Prepare clear communication materials for Steering Committees, leadership briefings, and technical forums Contribute to continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and refining delivery processes Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need: Proven experience coordinating IT or application development projects Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid delivery models Proven skills in scheduling, reporting, and governance documentation High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Experience in financial tracking and budget management for IT projects Additional Information BOSS Best Places to Work 2024 –credited for its culture, engagement and flexible working arrangements.
