We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior IT Project Manager to join our IT team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, PMO you will be responsible for leading the delivery of medium to large-scale initiatives that support strategic business objectives.
In this role, you will define project objectives, foster alignment with senior leadership, manage stakeholder expectations, and oversee execution through to successful completion. You will maintain strong financial discipline, apply governance best practices, and ensure effective initiative reporting while promoting a collaborative and accountable project environment across internal teams and external partners.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading cross-functional teams in the end-to-end delivery of complex projects using standardized methodologies and best practices.
  • Building relationships with sponsors, senior leadership, key internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
  • Practicing strong financial discipline by tracking and managing project budgets, forecasts, estimates, invoices, and SOWs.
  • Identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, and interdependencies with clear action and mitigation plans.
  • Maintaining timely and clear initiative reporting across scope, timelines, risks, and financial health.
  • Driving stakeholder alignment through clear communication and governance practices.
  • Contributing to a delivery culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitating post-mortems and post-implementation reviews, providing recommendations to improve project execution and outcomes.
  • Mentoring and coaching project coordinators or project managers.

You have:

  • A post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience leading IT projects, including enterprise-wide business application implementations.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity in fast-paced environments.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (required); additional certifications in Agile are considered assets.
  • Deep understanding of project management principles, including risk management, stakeholder engagement, and financial tracking.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of IT systems, architectures, and development processes.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and cross-functional business and technical teams.

Compensation Details:
$97,875.00 - $130,500.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
