The IT Project Manager (PM) will support the management of multiple internal and external end-to-end technical projects, documentation, and processes while reinforcing defined infrastructure and software best practices. The PM will drive process improvement, documentation management, organization, and project guidelines to ensure project follow-through, timeliness, and accuracy. Experience with Workday HCM applications is highly desirable.Core Competencies

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and engineering teams on projects, presentations, and meetings.
- Apply Agile practices (Kanban, Scrum) in a hybrid organization to track projects alongside traditional schedules.
- Analyze internal/external communications to produce relevant, valuable responses for organizational relationships and project visibility.
- Identify meeting audiences, prepare thoroughly, and create project charters/kickoff presentations outlining business drivers, audience, communication plans, scope, phases, and next steps.
- Facilitate routine meetings/ceremonies, maintain project boards/dashboards using Jira and ServiceNow, and conduct meeting analysis.
- Escalate issues to appropriate groups when necessary.
- Maintain project status, update roadmaps, and adhere to defined project structure standards using integrated tools.
- Draft process and “how-to” documentation.
- Identify project constraints, risks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Reinforce priorities, policies, and team best practices.
- Utilize project management tools (SharePoint Project Template, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Project Online).
- Maintain, update, and archive project documentation.
- Leverage Outlook for scheduling, alerts, and meeting coordination using Scheduling Assistant.
- Generate and archive valuable meeting notes to support management decision-making.
- Ensure communication channels enable adequate team collaboration and escalation.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of project management experience in technology.
- Some college experience, applicable certifications, or college degree (preferred).
- Highly proficient in writing and editing.
- Experience with Workday HCM applications (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, SharePoint, and Project Online.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
