Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Utilize Microsoft Playwright for browser/API automation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and promote best practices.
  • Manage and maintain version control using Git.
  • Track and report defects using Jira.
  • Test and validate Restful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  • Perform database testing on MySQL and DB2.
  • Conduct performance and load testing as needed.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Playwright for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.
  • Solid knowledge of Restful API and GraphQL testing.
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL and DB2.
  • Familiarity with message broker systems, especially Apache Kafka.
  • Understanding of SCRUM, Agile testing methodologies, and continuous integration practices.
  • Experience with DevOps and deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift Private Cloud.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
