The Senior IT Solution Analyst is responsible for solution build, deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement of Mosaic Mining & Operations related business applications and systems. This role will work closely with the Solution Lead, Product Owners, IT Partners, 3rd Party Vendors, and key stakeholders to support development of Solutions while leveraging SAFe Agile methodologies.

What will you do?

• Deployment, maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting core business applications and systems
• Assigned portions of and/or participate in the development, analysis, prioritization, and organization of specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
• Participate in solution architecture reviews to ensure security, performance and adherence with enterprise standards
• Collaborate with technical architects and security teams to assess risks and validate design decisions
• Translate non-technical requirements into highly technical specifications
• Set-up and configuration of systems
• Help identify solution limitations and requirements
• Work with vendors and suppliers to implement solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs
• Create and maintain system documentation, including technical designs, architecture diagrams, and security control documents
• Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms

What do you need for this role?

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area required. Bachelor’s preferred.
• 4+ years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
• Strong knowledge of business processes, and how data and software applications support those processes
• .Net and Web Service Development experience preferred
• Experience managing production and inventory tracking systems within mining industry preferred
• Experience managing Shipping and Quality management systems preferred
• Experience with Data Historian systems preferred
• ITIL Experience preferred
• Oracle and/or SQL Server DBMS experience required
• Experience coordinating application upgrades and migrations, including stakeholder communication, planning, testing, and change management
• Experience in onboarding and integrating third-party applications, including security reviews, and compliance documentation
• Experience applying IT Architecture principles, including security, data flow, and infrastructure design documentation
• Experience with DevSecOps processes using Azure toolset preferred
• Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
• Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with packaged and/or SaaS applications.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies required and SAFe Agile preferred
• Strong proficiency in estimation and planning
