ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Specialist to lead their technology function. This role is the cornerstone of the company’s IT operations—responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing infrastructure, supporting enterprise applications, and driving process improvements. The right candidate will combine deep technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving, communication, and project management skills in a growth-stage environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide technical support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, resolving complex issues efficiently (including after-hours emergencies when needed).
  • Oversee endpoint and server configuration, patch management, and security hardening.
  • Manage and support the enterprise cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake or similar) including security administration, performance optimization, and role-based access.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud services (AWS and Google Workspace), covering provisioning, monitoring, and cost management.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Streamline and audit processes for onboarding/offboarding employees (full-time, contractors, and consultants) across global locations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks for IT systems and processes.
