QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup or fintech environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of macOS, along with proficiency in Windows, Linux, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proven experience managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Kandji or Jamf.
  • Experience with identity and access management using Okta to streamline authentication and secure user access.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Kandji, Okta, and AI-driven IT tools.
  • Expertise in networking, VPNs, firewalls, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools, endpoint management, and asset tracking solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, manage multiple priorities, and drive innovation.
    Compensation Range: $100K - $110

We are seeking a Senior IT Specialist who will serve as the backbone of our IT operations, providing comprehensive support across the spectrum – from tier 1 troubleshooting to strategic cybersecurity initiatives alongside our compliance team to leading the integration of innovative AI solutions. Your role will be instrumental in making our workplace smarter, more secure, and optimized for the future.

This role requires a problem-solver who can balance day-to-day IT support with forward-thinking innovation, ensuring our employees have the tools and security they need to succeed. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and eager to optimize workflows using AI and automation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Onboard new employees by setting up laptops and providing them with the equipment/tech as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of SaaS applications within our tech stack, ensuring seamless access for tools like GSuite, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Provide comprehensive IT support across all levels, from Tier 1 helpdesk issues to advanced troubleshooting.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud platforms, and endpoint devices.
  • Implement and oversee cybersecurity best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and mitigating security risks alongside our compliance team.
  • Lead the integration of AI and automation tools to improve workflows and optimize IT operations internally.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical escalations and critical IT incidents.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, documentation, and training materials for employees.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure seamless technology integration.
  • Evaluate, deploy, and manage IT tools, software, and SaaS platforms to support business needs.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Upkeep our inventory management (Laptops, desktops, accessories, etc)
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage IT procurement processes.
  • Offboard employees and ensure appropriate access is revoked and security protocols are in place and upheld.
