JOB SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team. This role involves providing advanced technical support, managing complex infrastructure components, and contributing to the design and implementation of secure, scalable IT solutions. You’ll work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure systems are optimized, secure, and aligned with best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in an MSP or enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and advanced networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and system management.
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols and identity management (SAML, OAuth, MFA).
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing firewalls (Watchguard Preffered).
  • Proficiency with RMM and PSA tools.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide remote and on-site support for desktops, servers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues involving firewalls, switches, VoIP systems, and cybersecurity tools.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, including rule sets, VPNs, and security policies.
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management across client environments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement and support authentication standards such as SAML, OAuth, and MFA.
  • Configure and deploy hardware and software for clients, including imaging and provisioning.
  • Monitor and manage client environments using RMM tools and respond to alerts proactively.
  • Document issues, solutions, and procedures in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
