Description

Are you the kind of person who thrives on solving problems, helping people, and making technology work seamlessly? We’re looking for a Senior IT Support Technician to join our small but mighty team on a 12 month fixed term contract, supporting colleagues both in the office and working remotely. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our technology running smoothly across the business.

ABOUT US

tmgroup is a supportive, innovative, and customer-focused business. As the UK’s leading supplier of Property Searches and market leading technology provider for property professionals, this is a great opportunity for a Senior IT Technician to join our business on a 12 month fixed term role.
This will predominately be an office based role in Swindon.
With a 20-year history, we are well known as a property search provider. But following recent Private Equity acquisition, we are now on a journey to position ourselves as a technology-driven property partner, leading the way in creating digital solutions that make property transactions easier for everyone

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be the friendly face (or voice) of IT, delivering an exceptional service to colleagues at all levels. You’ll take ownership of service requests, working quickly and efficiently to resolve them within agreed SLAs, whether it’s setting up a new device, troubleshooting applications, or untangling a tricky login issue. Communication is key – you’ll adapt your technical language to suit your audience, whether you’re talking to a fellow IT enthusiast or someone who’d rather avoid the word “network” altogether.
You’ll get hands-on with hardware and software installations, using automation tools and defined build processes to ensure everything is set up to our high standards. You’ll help maintain our asset management records, ensure everyone has the right tools and permissions to do their job, and spot opportunities to improve how we work. From collaborating with colleagues in other technical teams to working with suppliers when needed, you’ll be an important part of a close-knit team of five within a wider IT department of thirty-five.
The role operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with key performance measures including fast first responses, quick resolution of account access issues, and efficient turnaround times for device replacements.
