We are seeking a Senior IT System Administrator who will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency. The role requires deep expertise in Windows and Linux environments, networking, virtualization, and security. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server (2003/2008 and newer) and CentOS Linux environments.
  • Ensure optimal performance and security of Windows 7, 10, and 11 operating systems.
  • Administer Exchange 2010/2013 and Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and security configurations.
  • Configure and maintain iSCSI SAN/NAS storage solutions based on EMC and NetApp technologies.
  • Implement and manage RAID technologies and methodologies for data integrity and performance.
  • Oversee networking infrastructure, including Foundry and Dell switch gear, Cisco routers, and firewalls (Cisco 515E / ASA-5510).
  • Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support PHP-based applications, web development, and modern frameworks such as Yii2, React, and .NET.
  • Implement containerized applications and CI/CD workflows.
  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to IT project management.
  • Maintain and update legacy systems while supporting modernization initiatives.
  • Lead IT projects and mentor junior administrators and developers as needed.
  • Ensure IT compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
