Our client ensures the safe arrival of medications – at the warehouse, during manufacturing, and in transit. As a specialized partner to the pharmaceutical industry, the company assumes responsibility for the secure storage, precise order picking, and compliant serialization, as well as the temperature-controlled transport of pharmaceuticals. All operations adhere to the highest quality standards – in accordance with GMP and GDP guidelines. The company is more than just a service provider in pharmaceutical logistics: as part of critical infrastructure, it makes a significant contribution to the security of supply and resilience of Europe. Employees work at a state-of-the-art facility at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and ensure that every detail is perfect – from receiving the goods to manufacturing and the final delivery. To further develop its IT landscape in a highly regulated and security-critical environment, the company is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator specializing in network and IT security. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and further development of the network and server infrastructure, the administration of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, VLAN and firewall systems, as well as the analysis and resolution of complex incidents at the 2nd and 3rd level. You will also plan and implement IT security measures and support the expansion of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO 27001.

Your profile

The ideal candidate has completed IT training or a comparable qualification and possesses several years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, or system administration. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and network security is essential, as is experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization. An interest in IT security, cybersecurity, and information security is a prerequisite. The candidate should work independently and in a structured manner, and enjoy improving processes and taking on responsibility. Experience with Microsoft 365 or Azure, knowledge of ISO 27001, KRITIS, or NIS2, as well as experience with VMware or Hyper-V, are desirable. Personal qualities such as teamwork, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking complete the profile.
