Job Description
As part of our Core IT Infrastructure Services team you will provide the foundation for Brainlab’s Observability and Kubernetes Platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in computer science or an equivalent technical education with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Enthusiasm for new technology with a passion for IT system architectures
  • A broad understanding of IT principles in general (networking, web services, security concepts, micro-services, load-balancing and high available system architectures)
  • Very good automation skills (Ansible, Terraform, Python)
  • Analytical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience with managed Kubernetes solutions and private cloud technologies, like VMware Tanzu, VMware VCF, Red Hat OpenShift)
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and/or DevOps roles
  • A high level of expertise with the Grafana and OpenTelemetry ecosystems
  • A high level of service orientation and enthusiasm in optimizing processes
  • Advanced English skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Independent, structured and organised working style
  • A strong focus on user orientation, service availability, cost efficiency, data privacy and cyber security
  • Relevant Kubernetes certifications (e.g. CKA, CKS, …)
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and Enterprise Storage and Backup solutions is a plus

  • You continuously evaluate and improve our observability platform to meet evolving needs
  • You evaluate hidden potentials together with the individual business departments
  • You implement new use-cases into the Observability Platform, both at the infrastructure and applications layer
