WE’RE HIRING!

We are seeking a strategic Senior IT Transformation Manager who will be responsible for shaping and driving the IT function. Your mission is to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective technologies and systems that enable and power Thatcham’s Automotive Risk Intelligence strategy. This pivotal role focuses on influencing and empowering colleagues and customers through innovative IT solutions, ensuring seamless delivery of high-value, high-impact services.

  • Strategic leadership: Skilled in providing forward thinking direction, aligning business systems with long-term business objectives
  • Cloud Management: Proven experience in managing cloud services, resource planning, cost management
  • Team Management: Experience in leading teams, enhancing performance and nurturing professional development
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams and ability to influence others
  • IT Process: Demonstrated experience in IT process improvement, quality assurance and implementing best practices
  • Adaptability: Capacity to adjust to new technologies and changing business environments
  • Problem solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement solutions
  • Analytical thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess system and process and identify areas for improvement
  • Technical skills: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT systems (e.g., Cyber, Infrastructure, Support)

Desirable skills or experience that are not essential (We welcome applications from candidates that do not match the additional criteria or will require training for these skills)

  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with software providers, including negotiating contracts
  • Budget Management: Knowledge of budget management activities. Delivering cost effective solutions whilst maximising return on investment
  • Prioritisation: Experienced in prioritising the team’s work based on value, risk and resource availability to align to business needs and set expectations
  • Planning: Ability to develop, maintaining and communicate a strategic systems roadmap, ensuring alignment to business objectives
  • Compliance and Security: Awareness of data security standards and industry specific compliance regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR)
