Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for implementing and optimizing logistics operations through cutting-edge technology? DHL Supply Chain is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior IT WMS Consultant / Developer to join our dynamic team and lead a small group of IT specialists! Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the IT Solution Manager to translate customer and business requirements into standardized IT solutions Configure WMS applications to meet operational & customer needs Develop and implement complex customizations when standard configurations are insufficient, always in compliance with DHL’s standardization initiatives and policies Design, develop and implement EDI & API solutions for seamless system integrations, e.g. ERP, TMS, CMS, and mechanization solutions Ensure that all configurations and developments are well documented Create and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure solution quality Provide technical expertise and support during implementation and hyper-care phases Lead, train and mentor a small team of IT application consultants & developers, fostering their growth and development Work closely with the IT Solution Manager and other IT specialists to align technical solutions with project goals and business requirements Actively engage with cross-functional project team members, including mechanization and operational stakeholders Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders Provide regular updates on configuration and development progress and potential challenges to the IT Solution Manager and IT Project Manager **Qualifications:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of experience in WMS implementation, configuration, and development Strong knowledge of supply chain management and logistics processes Expertise in strategic WMS products (e.g., Blue Yonder, Manhattan) Proven experience in EDI & API design, developments and implementations Proven experience in configuring and customizing WMS applications while adhering to corporate standardization initiatives & policies Knowledge of agile development practices Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Experience managing and mentoring small teams Fluency in English required.
