Seeking an experienced IT leader with 12+ years in enterprise environments and strong expertise in application design, team leadership, and system integration. The role involves building scalable solutions and managing complex deployments. Banking domain experience is a plus.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring alignment with design and architecture standards.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and APIs.
• Integrate application components and support asynchronous processing.
• Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data management.
• Manage cloud deployments and collaborate on automation and release processes.
• Maintain documentation and enforce development best practices and governance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• Minimum of 12+ years in IT, preferably with exposure to the banking domain.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong background in application architecture and design, including proficiency in creating low-level design artifacts.
• Technical Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with Java versions 8, 11, and 21.
• Deep understanding of Java 11/17/21 features, with the ability to explain concepts and provide sample code.
• Expertise in Spring Framework v5, Spring Boot 3.x, and REST API development.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot features, annotations, packaging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Spring Security, Spring REST, Spring JDBC, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate annotations and their integration with Spring applications.
• Experience in asynchronous programming, including development using queuing systems such as MQ, Kafka, or Solace.
• Understanding of generic Pub/Sub models and implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in async programming environments.
• Proficient in SQL and Oracle databases.
• Skilled in writing complex queries, joins, views, and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of query optimization techniques.
• Experience with Azure Cloud; familiarity with OpenShift is a plus.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools including GitHub, Jenkins, JFrog, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to explain code branching policies and lifecycle management.
