Job Description
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Application & Cloud Architect to join our Client’s team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will lead the design and architecture of sophisticated applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Java (J2SE, J2EE) and deep familiarity with design patterns.
• 4+ years’ experience in system architecture and information systems design.
• 5+ years with Spring and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and SQL.
• 3+ years with Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular2 (or similar), and Typescript.
• 3+ years developing secure web applications.
• 5+ years in object-oriented design.
• 2+ years in UI development.
• 5+ years with Maven (or equivalent).
• 3+ years using JIRA and GitLab.
• 3+ years designing REST and SOAP web services.
• 2+ years working with XML.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work in multilingual, multicultural teams

• Architect and design complex enterprise applications, primarily in cloud and microservices ecosystems.
• Apply architecture best practices, object-oriented principles, and design patterns.
• Design and model business processes and applications using advanced modeling tools.
• Ensure interoperability through technology such as web services, message-oriented middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Foster integration in a multicultural, international environment.
• Deliver high-standard technical presentations and documentation.
• Stay current with fast-evolving application technologies.
