Assignment description: We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our customers international team dedicated to developing a high-performance Online Charging System (OCS). In this assignment, you will lead backend engineering efforts, drive innovation through the use of Java and AI technologies and provide mentorship to team members within an agile framework. You enjoy thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are proactive in building relationships both within the organization and externally. What you will do: • Design and develop scalable backend services in Java. • Lead features based on 3GPP Policy Control (Diameter, 5G REST). • Collaborate with global teams to deliver product increments. • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices. • Support AI and DevOps tool adoption (e.g., Amazon Kiro, Copilot, Kubernetes). Requirements: • 5+ years in backend development with Java • Experience with telecom protocols (Diameter, 5G REST). • Strong skills in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus). • Proficient with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven. • Agile mindset; experience working in Scrum teams.

Responsibilities
