Broadridge Trading & Connectivity Solutions (BTCS) is seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Developer to join our global team.
This role is pivotal in transforming the trading landscape globally, developing high-quality financial market software products. You’ll be involved in designing, implementing, validating, and testing our solutions using integrated tools like Git, Jenkins, Gerrit, and Sonar.
You will be working on our Low Touch Solutions designed to automate high-volume trade flow across all asset classes. The ke ywords in our team are performance, multithreading, high throughput and smart visualization.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and design our financial markets software products
• Implement, validate and test achievements
• Support team efforts by applying an Agile methodology
• Build extensible, high-volume, highly reliable server applications
• Contribute to GUI integration developed in C#
• Evolve in technical areas such as multi-threading and performance profiling
• Apply continuous integration and TDD
• Provide and receive constant technical feedback via code-reviews and pair programming

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development
• Academic qualification in computer science or related field.
• Experience in OOP and/or functional programming (Scala, Kotlin ) in an environment with challenging performance demands
• Strong understanding of the server components and concepts
• Capable of designing and developing new functionalities, as well as consistently supporting ongoing maintenance releases
• Innovative mindset driving technological advancements.
• Team player with good communication skills, with an excellent level of English proficiency

Nice to have

• Development experience in C# programming language, .Net Framework (4.7 and above) or .Net (5.0 and above)
• Comprehensive knowledge in core C# Programming Concepts
• Experience in desktop development is an advantage. WinForms or WPF
• Web development knowledge is a plus (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ReactJS etc )
