FileNet Java Developer Experience: 8+ Years Must have FileNet Java Experience Job Summary: The FileNet Developer will play an important technical role within the ECM team. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ECM solutions to meet the organization's business needs as well as back-end operational support and maintenance of the IBM FileNet P8 OOTB and custom applications. Job Description 8+ years of IT industry experience in design, development, troubleshoot and implement large and complex IBM solutions. Strong understanding of ECM concepts, including document management, workflow automation, and records management. In depth knowledge of IBM FileNet Architecture and hands-on experience with IBM FileNet Java APIs Design and implement ECM solutions using IBM FileNet P8 platform by developing custom components, workflows, and integrations to extend the capabilities of IBM FileNet. Integrate ECM solutions with other enterprise systems and applications using Java and Spring framework. Expert level experience in Java/J2EE and Spring framework Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications including design documents and unit test plans and provides technical and functional support for ECM environments and applications. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of ECM applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Must have strong technical, hands-on experience and possesses innovative thought process, design thinking and strong analytical background. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong development skills in: Java, REST, SOAP, security, jUnit Spring MVC, Boot, Batch and other Spring projects, Thymeleaf Bootstrap, dojo, jQuery, bootstrap, javascript, css Good to have Angular, React Open source frameworks Strong FileNet skills in: CE and BPM Java APIs Content Navigator API and plugin, features, custom step processor, EDS development Creating classes, search and entry templates Creating workflows, custom components Using Process Administrator, ACCE Content Navigator administration, desktop configuration, viewer mapping, teamspaces Knowledge of: SVN, Git, maven, eclipse WebSphere: install, update applications, create data-sources, etc. DB2: create sql queries, procedures, etc. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field; IBM FileNet Certified Professional (Content Manager, Business Process Manager) Java certification
