This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer in India. This role is designed for an experienced Java developer who will take ownership of software design, development, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You will work on large-scale, data-intensive applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. The position involves collaborating with Agile teams, implementing best practices, and contributing to continuous process improvements. You will have the opportunity to influence architecture, enhance system capabilities, and deliver innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency. This fully remote role operates during IST evening hours, offering exposure to diverse projects and advanced technologies within a supportive and flexible environment. \n Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and related software components. Work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including version management, continuous integration, and unit testing. Collaborate with Agile SCRUM teams to deliver scalable, efficient solutions aligned with business requirements. Develop and consume Web Services, JSP, ASP, and relational database solutions using Oracle SQL and other technologies. Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices, documentation, and testing. Participate in design discussions, provide technical guidance, and review code from peers. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement of systems and processes. Requirements 8+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in application servers (Tomcat, Oracle AS) and frameworks (Spring, Struts, Play, Grails, JSF). 3–5 years of experience in JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery or AngularJS. Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server). Working knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, and application persistence layers (Hibernate, JDO, etc.). Prior experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM teams. Familiarity with test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and software versioning tools. Critical thinking skills, strong communication abilities, and capability to work independently. Experience in healthcare technology or HL7 standards is a plus.
