Senior Java Developer Interview Process: 2 rounds (video then F2F Hybrid - Mainly remote, but expect to be on-site 1-2x per month for team meetings at Columbia, MD office. DMV candidates only. US, GC Only , No H1b or third party Sr. Level Java Developer to support our customer, a major Federal Healthcare Insurance organization. We are seeking candidates with a broad range of knowledge with different software platforms, such as Java, Spring Framework, JMS, AWS Cloud, Oracle DB, Kubernetes, to perform new development, enhancements, production support/bug fixes, and system releases within our client's internal platform. This position is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of conversion to FTE with our customer (no guarantee, sponsorships not permitted). Although primarily remote, occasional onsite meetings will occur in Columbia, MD (2x per month). A last round face-to-face interview is required in Columbia, MD. If you are unable to meet these mandatory requirements, please do not apply. Required Skills BS Degree in Computer Science. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Java (v21 is preferred), Spring Boot Framework, Java Message Service (JMS) Must have basic AWS Experience / Concepts knowledge, along with Basic Kubernetes Console understanding Must have basic SQL Querying abilities Must have worked within a Healthcare Payor organization. Knowledge of Healthcare Claims is required (X12 is highly preferred) Must have strong Oracle DB Experience Wide breadth of knowledge across many Java Open-Source technologies, including Ant, Struts, Spring Boot, XML parser technology, SOA-based infrastructure, jUnit, and HTTPUnit. Duration: 12 months, but would like to have the option to convert, so no H1B candidates Seeking a Java Software Developer with 8 years of experience to support the FEP Bridge platform. This is a backend-focused position, with little frontend work. Will take frontend knowledge, but wants strong Java, Spring, and AWS cloud experience. The majority of the work is backend. Must haves: Java 21, Spring Boot frameworks, AWS (basic knowledge, applications run on AWS, so having this is required), JMS, Jenkins, Kubernetes Console, Oracle DB, solid design and architecting experience, able to consume the design of existing applications and process flows. Healthcare candidates, specifically claims exp, get first preference. 835, 837, x12 format (x12 is top choice) Part of the typical sprint process, scrum process to support releases, enhancements, troubleshooting, etc. Working with BA's and Testers to move the code through the SDLC process and get into production.- Maintenance to the system is part of this, troubleshooting/operational support of code- It's a 24/7 support of the FEP bridge, but very rarely do they ever get off-hour calls. Preferred, not required: Angular, Snowflake, Healthcare knowledge (but he will interview healthcare candidates first), Python, Cloudbees
