We are looking for an accomplished and passionate Senior Java engineer to join our cyber intelligence team in India. You will have an opportunity to participate in developing state-of-the-art security technologies, and benefit from high-level involvement in major projects that will significantly contribute to making our world safer and more secure. As a Cognyter you will: Function as a major part of a cross-functional high performing agile application development team. Build, design and develop java components and microservices over a distributed environment in a cloud native system, with a focus on high availability, low latency, scalability, and high throughput. Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems. For that mission you’ll need: BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent. At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in back-end software development of high-performance complex systems. Strong, extensive background in server-side development in Java 8 and related technologies, such as JBoss, Spring. Experience with concepts such as multithreading, REST, web-sockets and application servers. Experience with developing microservices in cloud environments. Experience with Automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Gauge. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, deployment, CI/CD processes, automation, build and release flows. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively. An Advantage Experience with software deployment containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker. Experience with web development technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, React.
