We are immediately seeking a Senior Java Developer (m/f/d) to support our application development, geographic information systems, and business intelligence teams. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).

Your responsibilities include:

• Further development and operation of our document and process management system in an agile environment
• Conception & implementation of new features – from requirements gathering and proof-of-concept to go-live
• Optimization of the existing toolchain through the use of current technologies
• Modernization of the delivery pipeline: Automation, containerization, Kubernetization
• Supporting our Product Owners in their exchange with our internal departments in the areas of public administration and telecommunications: clarifying requirements, developing roadmaps
• Technical Leadership: Code reviews, pair programming, coaching – with the option of a later chapter lead role.

What you should bring:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Java software developer in complex environments
• Solid and extensive knowledge of Java (17+) & Spring (Boot, Data, Web/REST, Security)
• Routine in CI/CD & Containerization: Git, Maven, GitLab CI/CD, Docker/Compose and Kubernetes
• Advantages: Alfresco, Apache Solr, Keycloak, OAuth2/OIDC; Messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Development using Linux/macOS, IntelliJ IDEA and Youtrack
• High quality standards: clean tests, automated pipelines and maintainability are a given for you.
• Clear communication and confident demeanor within the team, proactive ownership mentality and enjoyment of knowledge sharing
• Fluent German skills and good English skills
