On behalf of our Automotive client, Procom is searching for a Senior Java Fullstack Developer for a 12 month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Breslau, Ontario office.

SENIOR JAVA FULLSTACK DEVELOPER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join our Systems Engineering Group to support our Internal Logistics Applications Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role involves supporting existing custom solutions and developing new functionalities for internal customers. The focus is on enhancing several regionally deployed applications and uplifting technology.

SENIOR JAVA FULLSTACK DEVELOPER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Proficiency in SpringBoot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data
• Experience with Angular 14+ and Postgres 15+
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, and Git
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Experience working in a SCRUM team
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities

SENIOR JAVA FULLSTACK DEVELOPER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Selenium
• Experience with JEE (EJB, JSP, JDBC, JMS) on WebSphere v8.5.5
• Experience with data modeling and database design

• Participate in all phases of the SDLC with a focus on supporting existing solutions
• Work on functional enhancements and technology uplift activities
• Engage directly with end users to resolve issues and gather requirements
• Provide work estimates, test plans, deployment procedures, and documentation
• Collaborate within a medium-sized team of 5 members
