POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive, independent and well-organized Senior Key Account Manager to oversee our antibiotic product portfolio within Germany. This individual will be responsible for managing key hospital accounts, driving sales growth, and strengthen the company’s presence in the hospital market across the territory. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong background in hospital antibiotic sales and a proven ability to execute strategies effectively. Priority will be given to the region of North Rhine-Westphalia. If successful in its assignment, the Individual role may evolve to a National Sales Management Role for whole Germany.

Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive key account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including (but not limited to) hospital pharmacists, microbiologists, infectious disease specialists, urologists
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges

Sales strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve corporate and business goal in Germany
  • Promote and effectively communicate the clinical benefits of our antibiotic products to healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal product positioning
  • Develop and execute promotional activities tailored to the hospital environment (staff meeting, scientific evening, webinar, …)
  • Represent the company in the context of local, national and international scientific events
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processes of promotional activities while adhering with internal compliance SOPs

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, challenges and competitive landscape within the infectiology therapeutic area
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the headquarter regarding market dynamics and potential growth opportunities and contribute to the development of sales strategies and business plans that align with company objectives
  • Ad hoc mission outside the territory may be required

You report directly to the Executive Director - Medico-Marketing, based in Belgium – Manage.
