Roles & responsibilities We are recruiting for ‘Senior’ position in the Quality and Risk Management (QRM) Team. In this team, your responsibilities will include executing projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients. In addition, you will be required to: •Undertake smaller and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments •Establish strong professional relationships with stakeholders •Follow regular updates on work pipeline, discussions, MIS with stakeholders & within the entire team •Manage all tasks related to risk assessment which will include Ethics and Independence checks including personal compliance audit •Strong understanding of client and non-client facing models, ethical practices governed by regulatory body •Strong ability to manage workflow tool and along with the team to deliver work using other internal KPMG tools •Strong understanding related to stock markets and awareness on investment products in the market and their corresponding regulations •Strong compliance background on personal independence, previous experience working in a professional services firm is ideal but not essential •Ability to comprehend & articulate risk basis independence checks for senior level positions, mid-level positions and overall staff in the firm •High level of professionalism and ability to challenge effectively on anomalies and points identified as non-compliant with policies •Play active role in stabilizing the process for the member firm by doing a deep dive into procedures, process, and workflow to help improve process for the member firm. This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications •Qualifications: Graduate degree from Tier 1/Tier 2 institute or Post Graduation/Diploma. Work experience •Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a Big 4 consulting firm Mandatory technical & functional skills •Strong experience in personal independence and ethics including ability to audit personal investment portfolio Preferred technical & functional skills •Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality, and ethical standards and values •Willing to work hard, enthusiastic, and self-motivated •Ability to follow instructions clearly and demonstrate attention to detail •Strong commitment, multi-tasking, and strong work ethics •Self-motivated to prepare high quality work first time •Receptive to constructive feedback •Individuals must be professional, excellent communication skills verbal and written •Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
