YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • At least 5 years of development or SRE experience
  • Expertise in Java, Spring-boot, Oracle
  • Expertise in PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting to understand legacy code and writing complex SQL queries tuned for performance
  • Experience with modern SDLC toolstack (Bitbucket, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, etc.) and observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
  • Knowledge in container runtime environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift)
  • Good written and spoken English
Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with traders, operations and stakeholders situated in multiple regions and time-zones to understand their production problems and manual toil requiring automation.
  • Structured problem analysis leading to finding immediate fixes as well as long-term solutions that will prevent the same problem from re-occurring.
  • Design and code long-term solutions and deliver them into production within an agile delivery model.
  • Collaborate with engineers to participate and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions and specifications.

As a Senior L3 SRE Engineer you will be a key player in stabilizing the existing legacy platform by performing Level 3 support of complex issues as well as sustainable code fixes to prevent these issues from re-occurring. This is an Individual Contributor role, and you will be responsible and accountable for problem analysis, designing and coding long-term solutions to complex legacy issues, and releasing the fixes into production.
