Your role:
The Senior Lab System Expert will be responsible for setting up and managing all Lab Systems used by Bio Reliance systems in Darmstadt, including Lab Systems and Associated servers. There is a requirement to interact with all parts of the Information Technology division and directly with the organization’s business to gather requirements, facilitate design, and coordinate the implementation of solutions that satisfy the demand for infrastructure services. The Senior Lab System Expert will work in conjunction with IT, OT, and laboratory teams, as well as the wider project groups, to ensure that the site is aligned with corporate strategy for plant digitization processes.
The Senior Lab System Expert will be instrumental in supporting our production GXP lab. This includes the crucial task of authoring and providing ongoing support for all GXP documents required by the organization.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work in collobration with other members of the team to come up with high-level design and infrastructure architecture layouts for applications and tools used on the laboratory shop floor and in QC labs.
  • Develop process flow maps to document current conditions on site.
  • Develop gap analysis and action plans to address any compliance gaps identified.
  • Work with Lab System vendors to support installation & validation of Lab equipment.
  • Work with Various IT Infra departments to ensure IT Infrastructure is ready for vendor installtion.
  • Determine the most appropriate IT tools and systems to be utilized when collaborating, storing, and securing data, and educate stakeholders accordingly.
  • Use their knowledge and expertise to suggest redesigns where necessary.
  • Support the integration of existing systems into a new framework.
  • Align with project timelines and report on progress.

Who You Are:

  • Experience managing complex technical projects in IT infrastructure with a focus on setting and managing Lab Systems in a GXP Environment either in Health care of Life Science.
  • Bachelor degree with at least 5+ years of experince supporting Lab Systems
  • Windows server administration experince is essential
  • Proficient Microsoft Windows administration skills (AD, DNS, Group Policy, file services, IIS, SQL).
  • Experience with basic PowerShell Scripting is a must.
  • Basic knowledge of Citrix Workspace & Netapp.
  • Intermediate-level experience with VMware vCenter, Networking
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, SQL, and SSRS.
  • Desirable to have Professional industry certifications such as MCSE, MCITP, CCNA,CCNP or RHSA
  • Experience managing full lifecycle projects in a regulated environment from inception and design through installation, validation, and commissioning.
  • Experience managing within the constraints of GxP & Familiarity with Cyber Security (ISA/IEC 62443), Data Integrity, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GLP, and GDP.
  • Experience in Life Science, Pharmaceutical, and/or Biotechnology is desirable.
  • Fluent in Englisch and German.
