You’ll be responsible for Developing and validating test methods and implementing existing methodologies in the laboratory helping us deliver high-quality testing. Mō te tūranga | About the role You will be responsible for carrying out testing on aggregates, soil and asphalt whilst ensuring the continuation of IANZ requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety, as this role also involves field testing and physical works. Flexibility is a must, as due to the varied nature of our laboratory activities night shift and weekend work will be required. Overtime pay and night shift allowance is offered. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Develop test methods and apply existing appropriate international and local methodology. Ensure equipment checks are completed before equipment is used and maintenance is completed when necessary. Remain up to date with current pavement design, pavement delivery and pavement product technologies. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with A relevant qualification in science or civil engineering At least 4 years' experience in material testing Previous held IANZ signatory / KTP status Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit, particularly Word, Excel and Office Excellent time management skills & the ability to prioritise workload. Good level of physical fitness A team player & good role model Full NZ Class 1 licence with the ability to drive a manual transmission.
