PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Labour Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining constructive relationships with our German Works Councils. You will be part of the HR Operations team, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on co-determination matters. Your work will directly contribute to fostering a collaborative and legally compliant working environment across our 7 German entities.
SKILLS
Must have
University degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in labour relations or HR roles with a strong focus on German co-determination.
In-depth knowledge of German labour law, particularly BetrVG (Works Constitution Act).
Proven experience in negotiating with Works Councils and drafting works agreements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Able to connect the dots in a complex environment, driving initiatives, keeping calm and maintaining an overview of multiple tasks. Teamwork and very good communication skills.
Works Council Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple German Works Councils, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
Drafting and Negotiating Works Agreements:
Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of Betriebsvereinbarungen (works agreements) in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and legal counsel.
Support in Negotiations:
Represent the company in negotiations with employee representatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal frameworks.
Advisory Role:
Provide expert guidance to HR Business Partners and line managers on labour law, co-determination rights, and best practices in employee relations.
Project Support:
Support HR and business projects requiring co-determination, including organizational changes, policy implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all labour relations activities comply with German labour law and internal policies. Maintain accurate documentation of agreements and negotiation processes.
