POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Land Finance Analyst is responsible for land acquisition financing and reporting, coordinating with divisions on financing transactions, and coordinating & negotiating with lenders and land bankers. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Experience:
-
- 3+ years’ relevant experience in finance or similar field
- 1+ year in residential construction preferred

- Strong excel and analysis skills

Responsibilities
  • Work side-by-side with Land Finance Manager to learn, understand, and progressively assume greater responsibility within the land finance team
  • Generate, ensure accuracy, and distribute land finance reporting and analysis utilized by senior management and key external finance partners
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and assist in the internal and external underwriting of project finance structures
  • Run pro forma financial models for prospective SDH projects
  • Assist Land Finance Manager in communicating with SDH divisions, finance partners, and outside counsel to ensure optimal land finance workflow
  • Aggregate and review required documentation related to project-specific financing relationships
  • Manage preparation and tracking of quarterly land development draws
  • Manage land and lot takedown database and ensure purchases are documented in a timely manner
