SENIOR LAND & MEASURED BUILDING SURVEYOR

SPECIFIC SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES NEEDED

  • Energetic and enthusiastic and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve
  • 3 years’ experience in the surveying industry is essential
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, and able to work on own initiative and without direct supervision
  • Proficient in Autodesk Autocad is essential
  • Knowledge of using Leica Total Station or similar EDM and processing software (preferably N4ce)
  • Knowledge of using 3D laser scanners and processing software (preferably Leica Cyclone Register 360)
  • Knowledge of Revit & BIM models would be advantageous
  • Ability to work with point cloud data (including registration)
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst handling multiple projects/tasks
  • Clean UK driving licence
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Our team are the best in the business and we are looking for someone dynamic and enthusiastic to join our Fourwalls family. Taking on the role of senior land & measured building surveyor, you will be responsible for all aspects your projects, carrying out surveys, calculations, drawings and planning where required.
We will also support you in completing a drone surveying course as part of your ongoing professional development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertaking land, topographic, measured building surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as robotic EDMs and 3D scanners.
  • Register point clouds, check and prepare survey drawings as required.
  • Liaise with the CAD team and organise drawings.
  • Creating and reviewing CAD drawings, including measured building surveys, topographic surveys, underground utilities surveys, Land Registry compliant drawings, and more, making alternations where necessary.
  • Deliver projects snag free with a positive margin.
  • Answer client calls & emails, deal with requests and manage expectations. Liaise with clients and consultants in the preparation and execution of projects.
  • Attend internal or external project meetings.
  • Occasional travel and overnight stay may be required.
  • Maintain files and records throughout.
  • General administration tasks and support to the line Manager and division.
