Description

Arne Maynard Garden Design is inviting applications from Landscape Architects to join the studio design team based in Bath. You will lead the development and management of an exciting range of private projects in the UK, Europe and USA. Regular guidance and mentoring of the team will be required to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
We seek passionate and enthusiastic Landscape Architects with a meticulous attention to detail. You should have demonstrable experience across all work stages, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will require exceptional presentation skills and confidence to convey proposals both verbally and graphically.

Applicants will have a degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture or relevant discipline and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or interested in starting their professional qualifications.

  • Experience of multifaceted projects across all work stages
  • Confidence to communicate with and present to clients and consultants
  • Produce high quality design documents and drawing sets, including technical detailing
  • Exemplary role model in leadership of studio design team members
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team
  • Organised project file management in accordance with company standards
  • An understanding of practice management, such as work allocation and invoicing
  • An interest in mentoring design team members in the methods of best practice
  • Proficient in Vectorworks or similar, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
  • Eligible to work within the UK, with relevant visas
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice
  • A clean and valid driving licence
  • Salary will be dependent on level of experience and qualifications
