Overview As the Senior Language Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for all localization and translation efforts across the company. This is a critical role that connects our content, marketing, and design teams, ensuring our global audience receives high-quality, relevant, and consistent information about our products and announcements. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the translation and localization process for all external communications across multiple languages: Translation Project Management: Set up procedures and manage the entire lifecycle of content localization, from initial request through to final deployment. Stakeholder Management: Act as the main liaison between content creators, translation vendors/teams, and internal marketing/product teams. Establish and enforce a consistent, high-quality tone, voice, and terminology for all English UX/UI text on web and mobile, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment. Content Digestion & Briefing: Understand and digest the key points, technical nature, and strategic importance of new content pieces (e.g., product updates, announcements, blog posts). Produce clear, comprehensive briefs for the translation teams, ensuring they have the necessary context, glossary terms, and tone of voice guidelines. Launch Readiness & Quality Assurance: Coordinate with the Design Team to facilitate the translation and localization of all visual assets (e.g., infographics, banners). Ensure all necessary touchpoints (website, blog, emails, app notifications, social media) are accurately updated and aligned for content launches. Be the main guardian of language quality, proactively addressing and resolving any language-related issues that arise during content development or launch. Communication Strategy: Coordinate the required communication strategy for new content (e.g., determine if an email, blog post, or social media announcement is needed and ensure translations are prepared for each format). Skills & Experience Exceptional Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple localization projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently in a high-growth environment. Strong Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to reviewing translated content and touchpoints, ensuring absolute accuracy and consistency. Content & Technical Comprehension:Ability to quickly understand and synthesize complex, technical, and/or financial concepts, ideally related to cryptocurrency or derivatives trading. Experience writing clear and concise instructions/briefs for external parties. Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams globally. Experience: Previous experience in localization, translation coordination, or a similar content management role, preferably within the FinTech, crypto, or technology sector. Why BitMEX?
