As a Senior Litigation Lawyer in Dorset Council you will be involved in work that is complex, interesting and varied and which contributes to making a positive difference to the residents of Dorset. You will need to provide clear and detailed written legal advice to both internal and external clients on matters such as prosecutions, possession proceedings and debt recovery. You will attend the Magistrates and County Courts and provide representation, where appropriate. You will provide support, and when required supervision of members of the Litigation team. You will attend weekly team meetings, which support collaborative working and you will be supported in regular 1:1’s to achieve your objectives for learning and development.
