Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Control Management Officer.
This role is aligned to the Chief Operating Office (COO) Non-Operations Horizontal BCM team.
The successful candidate will be a motivated team player with expertise in risk and control management; a self-starter who is accustomed to working in fast-paced, complex, evolving organizations with diverse stakeholders; and an agile individual who is able to withstand challenges and adapt quickly with an execution mindset.

In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Risk - Act as an advisor to experienced leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies for complex, integrated business-specific risks across multiple lines of business.
  • Impact Analysis - Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report the impact of decisions and business controls to relevant business groups and enterprise functions.
  • Enterprise Strategy - Lead strategy and resolution of highly complex and emerging risks requiring deep evaluation across multiple domains, including financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit, market risk, IT security, and process management.
  • Risk Leadership - Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leaders on implementing innovative solutions for complex operational risks.
  • Team Mentor & Leader - Lead and mentor Control Management project or virtual teams.
  • Cross-Functional Consulting - Engage across all organizational levels to advise on designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and controls that meet regulatory requirements
