OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience in our dental office. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures.
This role is for a Lead receptionist. Please only apply if you have a minimum 2 years of experience in dentistry.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in office management and front desk operations.
  • Poses Leadership to lead the reception team.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems such as Epic is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to operate phone systems efficiently.

  • Assist with billing and payment processing while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations.
  • Keep the reception area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
