The individual will be responsible for performing development and verification of different protocols and applications such as ADSB-In, Traffic Apps, IO, Maintenance, OMS, Dataload and core modules. Roles and Responsibilities: You will verify Avionics DAL B products in CNS Domain. You will develop common supporting tools necessary for the development/Verification. You will execute unit, integration, and system-level tests for embedded surveillance software You will develop validation tests. You will participate in peer reviews of requirements, design, and code to ensure high software quality. You will support software audits and reviews by certification authorities You will document test results, raise anomalies, and ensure timely resolution of software issues. You will get to work with amazing architects and senior developers to create scalable, extensible, and sustainable solutions. You will build CI/CD pipelines, works with Dev-OPS team, for streamlined and effective deployments. You will troubleshoot build issues and support deployments. What Will You Do: Design, develop, document, test and debug control and diagnostic systems of Avionics Safety Critical Embedded Software. Coach, review work of junior engineers. Develop the FAA Certification artifacts in compliance with DO-178B/C. Support Stages of Involvement (SOI) submission, reviews and audits with both internal and external cert authorities, compliance authorities. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborates with programs and projects in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for datalink and aircraft communication systems. Develop the project plans for the programs or end users with cost and schedule with ROAD (risk, opportunities, assumptions, dependencies). Develop common supporting tools necessary for the development/Verification. Determine end user needs by analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems reported. Ensure software standards are met. Design and implement build procedures that are used to support software product development and use. Ensure compliance with DO-178B/C standards to meet the certification objectives. Manage moderately sized teams. Apply scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across datalink and aircraft communication systems. Ensure novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools. Lead/participate/contribute to innovation, Quality, CORE workshops contributing to product/process improvements, demonstrating tangible results. Debugging issues on host and target platforms. Qualifications Must Have: B.Tech/M.Tech with Understanding of Avionics Systems/Software Architecture – Datalink, CNS, FMS, Displays. Strong proficiency in C++/C/Python. Solid background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, coding, integration, and verification with exposure to DO-178B/C. Core expertise in Development, V&V, SCA, debugging, troubleshooting and unit/integration/verification testing. Experience with software-software, hardware–software integration and debugging. Qualifications We Prefer: Hands-on with: VectorCast, PyATE, RapiTest, Git, subverion Knowledge of DevSecops, Cybersecurity, Networking, AI/ML, ACDE pipeline tools 5-9 Years of Avionics Experience Experience working on Agile Methodology.
