Senior/Lead Frontend QA Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Front-End QA Engineer to join our team. Your role will be key in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications and APIs. We seek a candidate with a strong background in design, driving, and creating new automated integrations and end-to-end tests with front-end (Playwright/Cypress) and who is also a fast learner. Familiarity with the financial domain, including benchmarks, portfolios, and balancing, would be advantageous.

SKILLS

Must have
7+ years of work experience in software quality assurance.
5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Test Lead with Playwright/Cypress expertise.
Proficiency in testing web interfaces and APIs.
Proficiency with Typescript and Javascript.
Solid knowledge of SQL server and scripting.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration.
Experience with Dynatrace or other Observability Tools
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.
Nice to have
Intermediate knowledge/ experience with financial calculations, mainly basic performance and risk calculations.
Experience with qTest and ServiceNow

Perform testing on web interfaces and APIs to ensure they meet functional requirements.
Development of the Web UI Test Automation Framework
Utilize testing tools and frameworks (Playwright, Cypress) to automate tests.
Support QA activities such as developing Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed.
Track quality assurance metrics, like test coverage, defect densities and open defect counts.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
