We’re helping a specialized executive search firm focused on senior and executive-level placements within Web3, blockchain, crypto, and private capital hire a Senior Lead Generation and Business Development Specialist to build their outbound engine from the ground up. Most business today comes through the founder’s personal network and industry reputation. The goal of this role is to create a structured, predictable flow of qualified client conversations — thoughtfully and sustainably. This is not a junior outreach role. You’ll act as a strategic partner, designing the lead generation approach, testing outreach methods, and gradually building a repeatable system that supports long-term growth. Because the firm is currently lean, lead flow will be built step-by-step — focusing on quality and sustainability rather than volume. Role Details Commitment: 15 hours/week (with possibility of transitioning to more hours) Location: Fully Remote, PH-based candidates preferred Engagement: Independent Contractor Schedule: CET working hours Start Date: ASAP Compensation: $800-1600/month. No commission structure initially, but this may be reviewed in the future if appropriate. What You’ll Do Strategic Lead Generation (Core Focus) Define ideal client profiles across Web3, crypto, blockchain, venture-backed, and private capital companies Research funding rounds, hiring signals, and market expansion activity Build structured prospect lists and outreach sequences Design and refine a scalable outbound approach starting from scratch Establish systems, workflows, and processes for sustainable lead generation Outreach & Qualification Craft and execute personalized LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns Initiate conversations with founders, partners, hiring leaders, and C-level stakeholders Qualify leads before passing them to the founder for discovery calls Potentially conduct initial qualification calls where appropriate Optimize messaging and targeting based on response data Thought Leadership & Pipeline Support Suggest ideas for lead magnets such as hiring guides, market reports, webinars, or newsletters Work with existing content support where needed to strengthen outreach effectiveness Use insights and data to continuously improve response rates and conversation quality Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement Track hiring trends and talent demand across Web3 and finance ecosystems Identify companies raising funding, expanding teams, or entering new markets Continuously test, iterate, and refine outreach strategies to build a predictable pipeline Requirements (Must-Have) Proven track record generating qualified leads within recruitment, executive search, or headhunting (at least 3 years) Strong senior-level experience with LinkedIn prospecting and outreach Experience engaging C-level and executive stakeholders Clear understanding of how recruitment firms sell retained or contingent search services Ability to design strategy and build systems, not just execute outreach Strong written English communication skills Independent, structured, and proactive working style Strong Plus Experience in Web3, crypto, blockchain, fintech, venture capital, or private equity sectors Experience building outbound lead generation processes from scratch Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Crunchbase, Apollo, HubSpot, or outreach automation tools Experience working in startup or founder-led environments What We’re Looking For A strategic partner, not just a message sender Someone comfortable building structure where none exists yet Data-driven, organized, and results-oriented Confident engaging senior decision-makers Patient and thoughtful in building a quality-focused pipeline, not chasing volume This is a rare opportunity to shape the outbound growth engine of a respected executive search firm from day one and become a long-term trusted partner in its expansion.
