WORK AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 15 years of Piping & Layout engineering experience in Oil/Gas or LNG terminals or Power projects
• Experience with Pipe Stress Analysis softwares
• Hands on experience with piping & equipment supports
• Experience with Underground piping & FRP/GRP/HDPE piping
• Experience with 3D model review and exposure to 3D modelling will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years’ engineering experience as a Senior Piping/Layout engineer in internationally reputed organizations of Engineering consultancy or EPC companies
• Involved in 2 FEED or EPC detailed engineering projects either on Owner’s side or Contractor/consultant side
• Familiar with both international and Local Codes & Standards
• Experienced in preparing specification, data sheets, requisition of static equipment and packages, and technical bid evaluation, as well as vendor document review & commenting
• Experienced in field engineering, construction and commissioning in LNG or LNG terminal project will be an added advantage

Focal for Piping & Layout related engineering matters for SLNG CAPEX projects

• Prepare and issue basis of design, project specifications and scope of work for Feasibility Studies, FEED and EPC projects
• Monitor Engineering consultants and EPC contractors to ensure their deliverables are as per the project specifications.
• Review engineering consultants, EPC contractors, Equipment vendor proposals and evaluate their capabilities
• Review, validate and approve Piping & layout deliverables in CAPEX projects
• Review piping material test certificates and ensure the certificates are as per the project specifications
• Review Isometric drawings, Piping layout and Piping Stress Analysis reports and ensure detail engineering deliverables are as per Stress Analysis recommendations
• Address O & M issues that will arise due to plant aging
• Coordinate with project management team, other discipline engineering, and O&M teams
• Review as-built deliverables and ensure all SLNG approved as-built deliverables are uploaded in the document management system
• Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System established and adhere to the QA plans
